Director and Shareholder disputes

Our litigation and dispute resolution team has extensive experience advising in relation to a wide range of issues that can arise at both the director and shareholder level. 

The members of our litigation and dispute resolution team are experienced negotiators and regularly work with our clients to facilitate resolution of disputes in the area of directors' duties or shareholder disputes. Where disputes are unable to be resolved, our team has extensive experience acting on behalf of clients in both Federal and Supreme Courts in relation to disputes involving fraud, shareholder oppression allegations and breaches of duties by directors.

Our experience includes:

• Acting in Federal Court proceedings on behalf of defendants in relation allegations of misrepresentation to investors and shareholder oppression.
• Advising directors and shareholders in relation to the dissolution of a joint venture arrangement and negotiation of intellectual property rights.
• Advising a publicly listed company in relation to allegations of breaches of directors’ duties.
