Paul has been a lawyer for 18 years specialising in the planning, environment and property sphere.  Paul has previously worked as a Senior Lawyer at Sparke Helmore and HWL Ebsworth, before practicing as a Partner for just over 5 years at Madison Marcus Law Firm in the Sydney CBD.

Paul has advised numerous large building, construction and property clients, operating in the $2M-$100M construction cost space.  Paul also undertakes due diligence for potential purchasers along the Eastern Seaboard.  Paul also regularly acts for property owners (and lessees) in relation to the compulsory acquisition of freehold or any other interest.

Paul also conducts litigation in all Land and Environment Court jurisdictions from Class 1 Merit Appeals to Class 5 Criminal Prosecutions.  Paul also undertakes litigation in the Supreme Court in relation to the granting and registration of easements, and in the Local Court in relation to appeals against penalty notices, boundary disputes, encroachments.

Paul has a very high success rate in resolving disputed proceedings through mediation – thus ensuring a quicker and cheaper result for the client.  Paul’s previous work experience in Power Generation brings with it a pragmatic mindset focused on practical client outcomes.
